PSG have accepted an offer from Arsenal worth over £500,000. De Almeida has already undergone a medical and agreed to personal terms with the Gunners.

The decision to strengthen their centre-back options comes as the club awaits the recovery of Katie Reid, who is sidelined after an anterior cruciate ligament injury. Reid, who is just 19, is not expected to make her return to the squad until at least November.

If De Almeida's transfer is completed, she will become Arsenal's eighth signing of the summer.
