Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has backed Florian Wirtz amid criticism. The German midfielder leads the Premier League in chances created but has only two assists in seven matches, leading to concerns.

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has shown his support for Florian Wirtz, who is facing intense scrutiny during his second season with the club.
