Aston Villa's head coach Unai Emery has commented on the squad changes following the summer transfer window. The Spanish manager emphasised that the club was well-prepared for potential restructuring and is now focused on helping new signings adapt quickly.
Unai Emery stated:
This is part of our four-year development plan — to be ready for changes like those we've seen this year. This time, the changes have been more numerous than usual.
A lot of players were involved during the transfer window, and we were prepared for the changes to our squad. Now our task is to help the new arrivals adapt and develop as quickly as possible.
We have several young players with huge potential. Some will show it straight away, while others will need more time.
But we are very motivated and are eagerly looking at how we can maintain the level we displayed in the Premier League.
