Tottenham have rejected Sunderland's loan offer for Kevin Danso until the end of the season. The Londoners signed the defender for £21 million last year, and he has since played 52 matches for the club, eight of which came under Roberto De Zerbi.

Tottenham have rejected Sunderland's approach for Kevin Danso, with the Black Cats looking to secure the 27-year-old central defender on loan for the remainder of the season.

This comes from Sky Sports journalists Keith Downie and Michael Bridge, who reported that Sunderland sought to bring Danso to the Stadium of Light but were met with a firm refusal from the London club.

Tottenham brought the Austrian defender to North London for a fee of £21 million last year. Since his arrival, Danso has made 52 appearances for the Lillywhites.

Under the management of Roberto De Zerbi, the player has also seen consistent playing time, featuring in eight matches since the new boss took charge of Spurs.
