Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Ezri Konsa is fit and available for the Premier League clash against Chelsea.
The decision on whether the defender will feature from the start will depend on the selection of the starting XI.
Arteta remarked:
Konsa is definitely available and will be included in the squad, so we will have to make a decision on the lineup.
The manager also shared updates on Jurriën Timber, who is progressively recovering from injury and has been training with the team for several weeks:
He’s in very good condition now. He’s been training with us on the pitch for a few weeks, so he’s in good shape.
When questioned about Timber’s potential involvement against Chelsea on Sunday, Arteta responded:
We’ll make a decision after training.
