15-Second Brief
Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has claimed he isn't worried about Bruno Fernandes' form following the draw with Leeds. The midfielder has been playing through pain and has failed to contribute in six consecutive matches.

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has dismissed concerns over Bruno Fernandes' physical condition. The Red Devils' captain had a subdued performance in their recent match against Leeds, which concluded in a 1-1 stalemate.

He’s fine, it’s not an issue. Today he felt completely normal, so there's no need to worry.

He played in the same position as usual — in the centre of the park, so there weren’t any significant changes.

Earlier in the week, he played in a slightly different role, but aside from that, it was business as usual. Bruno is an important part of our team, he always has been, and that hasn’t changed.

Previously, Carrick had acknowledged that Fernandes had taken to the pitch while nursing some pain, which may have understandably impacted his form.

It’s worth noting that the Portuguese midfielder hasn’t managed to contribute a goal or an assist in his last six matches. This could arguably be the worst stretch of his time at Manchester United in terms of productivity.
