Tottenham forward Matiias Tel expressed his emotions following the 2-0 victory over Chelsea in the eighth round of the Premier League. The player noted the significance of this result, given the team's previous struggles at Stamford Bridge.
'This is a special moment because we've come to Stamford Bridge many times and couldn't get a win. Today, we showed great character, and now we need to enjoy this victory,' Tel told Sky Sports in an interview.
'We created a lot of chances'
The French striker also spoke about his goal, which helped Tottenham secure their advantage in the second half.
'We created a lot of chances today; we played as a unified team. This goal is something special for me. I'm happy, and now we need to keep pushing forward,' the forward added.
