Former Newcastle defender John Anderson believes that loaning Nick Woltemade to Juventus will be advantageous for both the player and the English club.
In his view, the German forward will find it easier to showcase his skills in a league that is less intense and physically demanding.
John Anderson stated:
We think it might suit him better to move to another European league where the football isn't so fast and physically intense. That could be a better fit for him.
Anderson also highlighted the increased competition in Newcastle's attack:
I think the arrival of Fernandez-Pardo has opened up an opportunity for Nick Woltemade to leave and get regular first-team football, which was unlikely to happen here.
The coach has already put him on the bench. Vissa has started the season brilliantly, and after Fernandez-Pardo's arrival, I would assume he would also be ahead of Woltemade. So, to be honest, I think this deal benefits both parties.
