Carlo Ancelotti has once again called Chelsea forward Joao Pedro into the Brazil squad. The 24-year-old returns to the national team after missing the World Cup.
Despite Joao Pedro enjoying a successful 2025/26 season at club level, Ancelotti chose not to include him in the World Cup squad. Instead, he opted to include Neymar, who was still recovering from injury at the time and ended up playing only 37 minutes in the tournament.
Now, Joao Pedro has been handed a new opportunity with Brazil. The South American side will face Australia twice during the upcoming international break, along with a match against India.
Also called up is Joao Pedro’s Chelsea teammate Estevao.
