17-year-old Andria Bartishvili has landed in London to undergo a medical ahead of his transfer to Arsenal.

According to The Standard, the young Georgian footballer has already reached a preliminary agreement with the reigning Premier League champions. However, he will officially join the Gunners only after he turns 18 in March 2027.

Currently, Bartishvili is on loan at Georgian club Iberia 1999 from Kolkheti-1913. In the 2026 season, he featured in 16 matches in the Georgian league, netting twice and providing two assists.

Regarded as one of the most promising young players from Georgia, he is often dubbed the 'new Khvicha Kvaratskhelia' due to his technical ability, dribbling skills, creativity, and versatility as an attacking midfielder or winger.

Notably, Mauricio Micheli, Arsenal's head of recruitment, played a role in his move to London and is linked with the early discovery of Kvaratskhelia's talents.
