Manchester United confirmed a press conference for Michael Carrick ahead of the game against Chelsea. The manager has a chance to rectify the team’s fortunes over three matches before the break.
Manchester United's manager Michael Carrick will hold a press conference on Thursday ahead of the Premier League clash against Chelsea this weekend, according to reports from journalist Chris Wheeler.
This development reinforces the club's intent to keep the manager at the helm, despite the heavy 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth leaving many to believe his departure was imminent.
The hierarchy at United believes that Carrick has been afforded sufficient time to turn the situation around this season. The upcoming trio of fixtures before the November international break will be crucial for his chances of retaining his position.
