Manchester City have officially announced that Jeremy Monga will spend the upcoming season on loan at Swansea City.

The 17-year-old prospect joined the ranks of the Citizens from Leicester earlier this summer, managing to fend off interest from London side Arsenal in pursuit of his signature.

City shelled out £12.5 million to Leicester for the talented product of their academy.

After a solid pre-season with the City squad, Monga is now set for some much-needed regular game time with Swansea.

Swansea head coach Vitor Matos shared his thoughts on the new arrival:

“We’re thrilled that he and Manchester City have chosen Swansea as the place where he can continue to develop and improve, and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the squad.”
