Liverpool are considering Borussia Dortmund's Felix Nmecha as an alternative to Alex Scott. The Germans value the 26-year-old at €100 million, with Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham also showing interest.

Liverpool are eyeing up Borussia Dortmund's Felix Nmecha as a potential alternative transfer target should talks for Alex Scott falter.

With Bournemouth demanding over £100 million for their star player, the Merseysiders are exploring other options. The 26-year-old Nmecha, who has a solid understanding of English football from his time in Manchester City's academy, could provide a viable solution.

According to TEAMtalk, interest in the German international is also bubbling with Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham all keeping tabs on him. Dortmund are in no rush to sell their star, given that his contract runs until 2030 and a release clause of €80 million only becomes active in 2027.

The German club is expected to ask for between €90 million and €100 million for Nmecha. Liverpool's head coach Andoni Iraola is drawn to the midfielder's versatility, stature, and experience on the European stage. Teammate Nico Schlotterbeck recently heaped praise on Nmecha's performances.

That’s the Felix we know and want to see. If he continues to play like this, he could become one of the greats.

Should Bournemouth refuse to budge on Scott’s price, Liverpool may opt for the more seasoned Nmecha at a slightly lower cost.
