15-Second Brief
Leeds United and Manchester United drew 1-1 in the Roses derby at Elland Road. Bryan Mbeumo put the hosts ahead, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin equalised soon after half-time. The Manchester club's winless streak has now extended to six matches.

Leeds and Manchester United played out a 1-1 draw in the latest Roses derby at Elland Road.

The visitors took the lead in the 35th minute when Bryan Mbeumo deftly finished off a lovely move initiated by a cross from Youri Tielemans on the right flank.

However, the Manchester side's lead was short-lived as Dominic Calvert-Lewin levelled the match just six minutes into the second half. He skillfully controlled the ball in the penalty area before firing home with a powerful shot.

In a tense finish, Leeds nearly clinched the win in stoppage time. Anton Stakh's strike managed to slip through the legs of goalkeeper Senne Lammens, but Noussair Mazraoui was on hand to clear it off the line.

While a draw seemed a fair reflection of the match, it’s unlikely to ease the woes of Manchester United, who are now without a win in six consecutive matches across all competitions.
