Journalist Nizaar Kinsella has shared a heartfelt farewell message from Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernandez to Chelsea supporters.
In the statement, Fernandez expressed his gratitude to both the club and its fans for the time he spent at Stamford Bridge:

“I want you to know that these days haven’t been easy for me. Writing this is no simple task either. To be honest, I've not been in the best of places.”
“Three years ago, Cobham and Stamford Bridge became a home for me and my family. I’ve formed a bond with the people, the shirt, and the badge of this incredible club.”
“Believe me when I say that from the moment I arrived, I was obsessed with winning and bringing this club every piece of silverware that its history deserves. We’ve suffered, we’ve cried, I’ve been angry many times, but we’ve also celebrated trophies and unforgettable victories. Together, in good times and bad.”
“I live football just as I live my life: with passion and all my heart. That’s why I want you to know that I understand you. I truly understand you, from the bottom of my heart.”
