Chelsea have secured the future of promising winger Chizaram Ezenwata. The 18-year-old has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until at least June 2029.
Ezenwata joined Chelsea's academy at just 15 and has progressively made his way through the youth ranks, earning praise for his remarkable ball control and calmness in front of goal.
During the 2025/26 season, Ezenwata enjoyed a stellar campaign with the under-18 side, netting 15 goals and providing seven assists in just 21 appearances. His impressive performances earned him a nomination for the PFA’s Under-18 Player of the Season.
Further showcasing his talent on the international stage, Ezenwata netted a spectacular hat-trick for the England U17 team during the World Cup, dominating against Haiti. In September and October, he continued his scoring prowess, adding three more goals in three matches for the U19 squad.
