Borussia Dortmund have secured a crucial addition on deadline day, filling the void left by the injury of Yannick Constantelias.
The Bundesliga side has signed Ethan Nwaneri on loan from Arsenal. According to Bild, it required significant effort from the German club to finalise this deal.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was initially reluctant to part with the 19-year-old talent, expressing doubts about whether he might need Nwaneri's services in the current season.
Ultimately, Arteta gave the green light for the move. Reports suggest that Dortmund's hierarchy, led by sporting director Ole Bück, were engaged in negotiations with Arsenal representatives until the early hours of the morning.
Nwaneri could make his debut for his new club this Saturday when Dortmund face Hoffenheim in a Bundesliga clash.
