Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has offered his heartfelt congratulations to Harry Kane following the forward's historic Ballon d'Or triumph. The Spaniard highlighted the exceptional qualities displayed by the Bayern Munich striker on the European front.
First and foremost, congratulations to Harry! He is undoubtedly a player of another class, Alonso stated.
The coach acknowledged that all nominees were deserving of the accolade, but firmly believes that Kane's victory is well-earned.
All the nominees would have deserved this award, but I believe that Harry has truly earned it! he emphasised.
Alonso also pointed out the incredible progress Kane has made and his colossal impact on German football and the national team since moving to the Bundesliga. Over the last few years, the forward has continued to improve, and his influence in Germany has been immense, as has his effect on the national side.
This is completely deserved. Congratulations to him! Alonso concluded.
