Tottenham have retained their right of first refusal to buy back England striker Harry Kane despite his new long-term contract in Germany, according to The Telegraph.
The Ballon d'Or winner has extended his contract until 2029 on an estimated salary of around £400,000 a week. However, the agreement between Tottenham and the German club, made when the striker transferred in 2023, remains in force throughout his time at his current club, regardless of any contract extensions.
The option allows Spurs to match any offer from another buyer if a decision is made to sell the club's all-time leading scorer and the player wants to return to north London.
The striker is currently considered untouchable, while Kane is fully focused on playing for his club and country.
