Birmingham City are monitoring Rosenborg forward Amin Chiakha, who scored 10 goals in 18 Eliteserien games before his permanent move from Copenhagen.

Birmingham City are monitoring Rosenborg forward Amin Chiakha, who attracted the club's attention with his performances in the Norwegian league. The English club are assessing a possible move for the 20-year-old, but have yet to take concrete action.

According to Ontheminute.com, Birmingham are following Chiakha's progress after Rosenborg exercised their purchase option to complete his permanent transfer from Copenhagen.

Chiakha joined the Norwegian side on loan in January and quickly adapted to senior football. The forward scored 10 goals in 18 Eliteserien appearances, becoming one of the league's notable young attacking players.

His scoring record has attracted attention beyond Scandinavia. Birmingham see him as a potential option to strengthen their attack, but for now they are only monitoring him.

After activating the purchase option, Rosenborg signed Chiakha to a four-and-a-half-year contract. The Norwegian club therefore have long-term control over the forward's future and are not interested in a quick sale.
