Simon Jordan has claimed that Chelsea have violated rules more significantly than Manchester City. Meanwhile, City players, including Marc Guehi, remain calm amid the FFP investigations.

The fallout from the Manchester City financial fair play scandal continues to escalate, with an independent commission finding the club guilty on 114 out of 115 charges. The Citizens have vehemently denied any wrongdoing and are appealing the decision. According to Daily Mail, potential sanctions could include a hefty fine and point deductions that might see them relegated from the Premier League.

Despite the severity of the allegations, defender Marc Guehi reassured fans, stating that players are maintaining their composure:

The club informed us right away, so we were pretty calm. There were a lot of relaxed faces because we have huge faith and trust in the club.

Simon Jordan's take on Chelsea

Meanwhile, former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has weighed in, claiming there's a glaring double standard in English football when it comes to Chelsea. Speaking on Piers Morgan's Sports Uncensored, he argued that the west London club deserves far more scrutiny than they have received:

Why is there such outrage over Chelsea? They were allowed to do things that Manchester City were never permitted, and yet, six years after they were let into the room, they continue to cheat.

Jordan contended that Chelsea had the freedom to spend as they pleased, while others faced restrictions. He asserted that City had to break the rules just to carve out a place among the elite — a privilege that Chelsea was afforded from the start. Therefore, the public outcry should also equally target the Blues.
