Graham Souness has sharply criticised Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, calling him a cheat and accusing the 25-year-old of simulation and pressuring referees for fouls.

Former Liverpool star Graham Souness has taken aim at Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, labelling him a cheat for his tendency to go down too easily.

During an episode of Piers Morgan's podcast, Football Uncensored, the Scottish pundit claimed that Saka audibly cries out every time he hits the deck, leading Arsenal players to swarm the referee and demand a foul.

Souness believes this pressure on officials often results in incorrect decisions. "The referee panics and blows the whistle, even though his first instinct was probably correct. Simulation is everywhere in football these days," he stated.

It's important to note that the 25-year-old Saka is frequently among the most fouled players in the Premier League. However, accusations of simulation have followed him since the quarter-finals of the 2024 Champions League against Bayern Munich, where he blatantly attempted to win a late penalty following a collision with Manuel Neuer.
