Manchester City loanee Divine Mukasa is impressing at West Ham and scored against Cardiff as Scott Parker's side came back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3.

Manchester City midfielder Divine Mukasa is impressing on loan at West Ham. The 19-year-old has made 14 Championship appearances this season and is gradually becoming an important part of the team, despite their poor start to the season and eighth place in the table.

Mukasa played predominantly in a deeper midfield role under Nuno Espirito Santo, but was given a more attacking role after the Portuguese was sacked and Scott Parker appointed. In the 3-3 draw against Cardiff City, he scored West Ham's first goal in the 58th minute, lifting the ball over the goalkeeper after a pass from Jarrod Bowen. West Ham came back from 3-0 down.

Manchester City may be pleased with Mukasa's development. The loan has given him regular playing time, allowed him to demonstrate his versatility and helped him improve his skills in central midfield. Despite occasional inconsistency, the 19-year-old midfielder is showing considerable potential and could in future contend for a place in Enzo Maresca's team.
