15-Second Brief
Bayern Munich remain in talks with Rio Ngumoha's representatives, according to Christian Falk, while Liverpool are working to extend his contract beyond 2028.

Bayern Munich remain interested in Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha. According to journalist Christian Falk, the German club are in talks with the young Englishman's representatives over a possible future transfer.

Bayern were interested in Ngumoha last summer and were prepared to offer a substantial sum for him, but Liverpool refused to discuss a sale. Bayern are now exploring a move again, viewing him as a potential replacement for Luis Diaz on the left of the attack.

Ngumoha's Liverpool contract runs until 2028, and the club are already working on an extension. If the parties cannot reach an agreement, Liverpool could face having to sell him next summer rather than risk losing him for free in the future.

The situation is complicated by the fact that Chelsea are entitled to 20% of any transfer fee for Ngumoha. Liverpool's main priority therefore remains signing the promising winger to a new deal.
