Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in Aston Villa goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, with Liverpool considering him as a potential long-term successor to Alisson, TEAMtalk reports.
Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in Aston Villa goalkeeper Zion Suzuki. According to TEAMtalk, the 24-year-old Japanese keeper has impressed since joining from Parma for £30 million in the summer.
Liverpool are considering Suzuki as a potential long-term successor to Alisson. Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring the goalkeeper, but signing him is not currently a priority for either club or Arsenal.
Aston Villa rate Suzuki's potential highly and believe his transfer value could eventually exceed the world record for a goalkeeper: the £70 million Chelsea paid for Kepa Arrizabalaga in 2018. Villa are in no hurry to sell Suzuki, however, given that he joined them only a few months ago.
