Bayern Munich are closely monitoring the development of 20-year-old Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi as a potential long-term addition to their attacking line.
According to British publication The Mirror, the German champions have added the young French player to their priority transfer list. The forward, who plays for the France U21 team, is regarded as one of the brightest attacking talents in the English Premier League. Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl stated ahead of their Champions League match against Atletico Madrid that he is "extremely satisfied" with the current squad, but the club continues to strategise for the future.
Kroupi has gained attention from top European clubs with his impressive performances in the second half of the 2025/26 season. His rapid rise was temporarily halted by a foot injury, but he has fully recovered and has made two substitute appearances for the Cherries. The 20-year-old's main assets include phenomenal speed, a powerful strike with both feet, and tactical versatility, as he can effectively play as a striker, an attacking midfielder, or cover both flanks.
Bayern are preparing for serious competition in the market, with London side Arsenal and PSG also closely watching the situation surrounding the forward. Any attempt to buy the Frenchman would cost prospective buyers a colossal sum: last summer, Tottenham showed interest in the player, and at that time, Bournemouth's management clearly set a minimum price of €120 million.
