Florian Plettenberg revealed that Harry Kane's transfer from Tottenham to Bayern Munich for €100 million did not include a Ballon d'Or bonus. However, the contract does feature payouts for trophies and Champions League success.

Tottenham won't receive additional payments from Bayern Munich following Harry Kane's triumph in the Ballon d'Or race. According to Florian Plettenberg, the transfer agreement for the English striker, signed in 2023, did not include a relevant bonus clause.

Kane made the switch from the north London club to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, with the deal reportedly amounting to €100 million.

Plettenberg emphasises that Bayern will not be required to disburse any extra funds to Tottenham due to the striker's individual achievement.

Bonus clauses for winning the Ballon d'Or are sometimes included in contracts during transfers of star players and highly-rated prospects. Such payouts can reach several million euros, making these terms quite significant for clubs.

However, the absence of a Ballon d'Or bonus does not imply that the agreement between the clubs lacks any additional payments. The contract for Kane reportedly includes bonuses linked to domestic cup victories and Champion League triumphs.
