Tottenham and Aston Villa are weighing up a move for Bayern Munich central defender Kim Min Jae. According to Fussball News, Juventus and Milan are also showing interest in the 29-year-old.
Although Kim remained in Munich after the summer transfer window closed, he has yet to become a guaranteed starter under Vincent Kompany. The Bayern hierarchy are set to discuss his situation and future at the club in December.
If his playing time doesn’t improve, the Bavarians may consider selling the defender as early as January, with a potential transfer fee estimated at €25–30 million.
Aston Villa are particularly keen on Kim, as Unai Emery's side has conceded nine goals in their first five Premier League matches and may look to the market for another experienced central defender.
Tottenham are also keeping an eye on the situation, despite having strengthened their defence during the summer with the arrivals of Marcos Senesi and Jan Paul van Heck.
Previously, Manchester United had been linked with a move for Kim Min Jae. The South Korean has been with Bayern since 2023 and has made 121 appearances for the club.
