Arsenal's seven clean sheets put them among Premier League's best starters

Arsenal have produced one of the best defensive starts in Premier League history.

Mikel Arteta's side kept seven clean sheets in their first 10 league matches. Only three teams in the competition's history have recorded more at the same stage: Birmingham City in 2003/04, Chelsea in 2004/05 and Manchester United in 2017/18 each kept eight.

Arsenal have also won nine of their opening 10 matches, losing the other, to take 27 points from a possible 30 and establish themselves at the top of the Premier League table.
