Ipswich Town have completed the signing of Serbian midfielder Sasha Lukic from Fulham for £9 million.
The 29-year-old has penned a long-term deal with the club that runs until 2030. Last season, he made 26 appearances for the Cottagers in the Premier League.
'I can’t wait to play here as a home player,' Lukic said.
Lukic is now the second former Fulham player to join Ipswich this summer, following Issa Diop through the same transfer route.
'I already played at Portman Road in the Premier League, and the atmosphere there was one of the best I’ve ever experienced,' Lukic added.
Manager Gary O'Neil is confident that Lukic's experience will be a valuable asset for the team.
'Sasha is a player who will bring real experience to the squad ahead of the new season,' O'Neil noted.
'Having played nearly 100 matches in the Premier League, he knows what it takes to compete at this level and has been a consistent performer throughout his time at Fulham,' O'Neil concluded.
