Chelsea have achieved the highest travel distance among all Premier League clubs this pre-season, with BBC reporting they covered a whopping 24,561 miles over the course of their tour.

The Blues spent a staggering 56 hours in the air during a whirlwind trip across Sydney, Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Malaysia under the guidance of their new head coach, Xabi Alonso.

From the outset, Alonso has set high standards for his squad, seamlessly adapting to the demands of multiple time zone changes.

Despite the lengthy trips and the inevitable jet lag, Chelsea remain focused on intense tactical and physical preparations.

The club's hierarchy has also been proactive in the transfer market, finalising deals such as the signing of Maxence Lacroix while the established players returned to training.

Now, Chelsea will head back to their Cobham training base with two weeks of rigorous preparation ahead of their Premier League opener against Fulham, scheduled for August 24.
