After the game, Santos shared his thoughts with reporters regarding his preferred position on the pitch.

“I like and prefer to play deeper, as a number six,” said the player.

It appears that the Brazilian is keen to take on the role of a deep-lying playmaker. This was precisely the position that Casemiro was brought in to occupy at Old Trafford, before he left the club at the end of the 2025/26 season.
