The 24-year-old's transfer value is estimated at around €40 million. His current contract with the English club runs until 2028.

At present, Real Madrid have not made any official approaches for Verbruggen. Meanwhile, Thibaut Courtois is close to extending his current deal with the Madrid club until 2028 as well.
