Former Chelsea coach and legend Jodi Morris has shared his thoughts on the club's transfer campaign.
The former player admitted he would have liked to see some different faces in the squad but also highlighted some positives.
“I would have loved Chelsea to be in a position to compete for Barkley,” Morris stated.
“I was very surprised that we managed to secure Morgan Rogers, especially given he was with a team already playing in the Champions League, and reportedly the champions of England were also after him,” he continued.
“The only concern I have about Lacroix is that he performed so well for Crystal Palace in a three-man defence, but may not quite hit the same heights when playing in a four for France,” the former coach pointed out.
“I think the addition of Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck is fantastic for the team overall. However, I would have liked to see a bit more experience in the starting lineup,” Jodi Morris concluded.
