Goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli is on the brink of joining Manchester City from French side Marseille. According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, the 34-year-old Argentine shot-stopper will undergo a medical examination ahead of finalising the transfer.
The clubs have come to a full agreement on the deal, which amounts to €3.8 million.
Should Rulli pass the medical without any complications, he is set to sign a two-plus-one contract with the Premier League champions, featuring a two-year deal plus an option for a further year.
In Manchester, the experienced Argentine will take up the role of second-choice keeper, filling the spot that became available following James Trafford's move to Leeds United.
