The Premier League has named six nominees for October's manager of the month award. Fans and football experts will choose the winner by 9 November.
The nominees are Xabi Alonso (Aston Villa), Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Roberto De Zerbi (Tottenham), Unai Emery (Newcastle), Fabian Hurzeler (Brighton) and Marco Rose (Manchester City).
Arteta and De Zerbi produced the most impressive results in October. Arteta's Arsenal won all three of their matches, while De Zerbi's Tottenham went unbeaten through the month, with three successive wins. Brighton manager Hurzeler also recorded three wins, including a notable 1-0 victory away to Manchester City.
The other candidates — Alonso, Emery and Rose — also had strong runs in October to earn their places on the shortlist.
