Liverpool's goalkeeper Alisson has shared his thoughts on the team's 0-0 stalemate against Fulham, accepting that they failed to perform at their best.
"It was a poor game — particularly from my side. Overall, we didn't play very well. A lot of what we tried to do just didn't come off. In the first half, we struggled to press properly and wasted too much energy trying to do so," Alisson told Sky Sports.

The Brazilian highlighted the importance of being mentally prepared for such matches, especially following a hectic schedule.
"It’s a big challenge to play on a Wednesday evening, then again on Saturday, and back on Tuesday. We need to be ready for games like this, but today, that didn’t happen," he said.
Alisson also recognised that Liverpool failed to create enough chances during the game.
"Fulham have quality players on the ball, and we didn't create as many opportunities as we should have. This is our challenge, and we need to perform better," he remarked.
"We can’t use fatigue as an excuse."
The goalkeeper stressed that the congested schedule should not be an excuse for the team’s lack of performance.
"If we want to achieve something special this season, we have to handle games on Wednesday, Saturday, and then Tuesday. We need to have the right mentality. Inside the team, it's there, but we must show it on the pitch and play with more energy," he emphasised.
Alisson on three draws
Despite remaining unbeaten, Liverpool has now drawn three times this season. Alisson expressed that such outcomes are far from satisfactory.
"We are not at all happy with this draw. With Liverpool, this should not be happening. Being unbeaten but having three draws isn’t something to celebrate in this shirt," Alisson stated.
"We preserved our clean sheet, but we are definitely not satisfied. We wanted to take all three points," he concluded.
