West Ham are actively rebuilding their squad for Championship football with Nuno Espirito Santo at the helm.
The London outfit saw key players depart in the summer, with Mateusz Fernandes joining Tottenham for a whopping £85 million and Chrisensio Summerville making the switch to Al-Hilal for £55 million.
Now, the Hammers are on the lookout for new talent. Their primary targets include AZ Alkmaar striker Troy Parrott and Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson.
According to the Daily Mail, West Ham have already tabled an offer of around £15 million for Parrott.
The 24-year-old forward is yet to rush back to his homeland, however.
“Before I moved to the Netherlands, I was completely focused on England. I dreamed of the Premier League. But having arrived in the Netherlands, I found that the football world is much bigger than England,” Parrott stated in an interview with De Telegraaf.
As for Nelson, he appears to be surplus to requirements at Arsenal. West Ham are exploring the possibility of a move, but they face competition from Fulham and Benfica.
