Manchester United and Chelsea have ramped up their scouting efforts in Brazil, focusing on identifying promising players from the Palmeiras academy at the earliest stages of their development.
Representatives from both Premier League clubs have been regularly attending youth matches over the past month, paying particular attention to players aged 15 and under, including as young as those in the U12 squads.
At this stage, neither club has identified specific targets. Instead, they are engaged in a comprehensive monitoring of all talented youths coming through the ranks.
The Palmeiras academy has already established itself as a leading producer of Brazilian football stars, having nurtured talents such as Gabriel Jesus, Endrick, Vitor Reis, and Estevao. Due to international regulations prohibiting the immediate transfer of underaged players to England, both clubs are conducting long-term scouting for future acquisitions.
