Everton, under David Moyes, could bolster their squad with Southampton midfielder Kuryu Matsuki during the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old Japanese player is currently in vibrant form, having recently scored his first international goal for Japan against Uruguay. He also made a mark with a goal and an assist in matches against Swansea City and Bristol City.
Matsuki is described as an energetic midfielder with a knack for winning the ball back and finding the net. Everton's scouts are eyeing him as a potential partner for Jack Grealish, especially after the departure of Iliman Ndiaye to Manchester City.
