Wayne Rooney believes that Manchester United should take another look at Myles Lewis-Skelly. The Red Devils were previously offered the 19-year-old from Arsenal, but the club failed to show any interest.
Reports indicate that Arsenal are open to selling their academy graduate for around £45 million. Lewis-Skelly can play both as a left-back and in central midfield:
If you can sign a player who can operate at left-back and in the middle of the park, then there’s no hesitation. He’s young, and he has a massive future ahead of him.
The former United captain also pointed out three other positions that need bolstering before the transfer window closes:
I would like to see another central defender, a central midfielder, and a striker. There’s still a lot to do. But it’s crucial that the club signs the right players.
