Barcelona's central defender Ronald Araujo is on the verge of a move to Liverpool. According to The Liverpool Echo and insider Graham Bailey, the 27-year-old Uruguayan is undergoing a medical ahead of a season-long loan deal.
The agreement includes a purchase option at the end of the 2026/27 season for €55 million (€40 million up front, plus €15 million in bonuses). Liverpool will also cover the player's reported salary of €17 million before tax.
