The Senegal international was on Spurs' transfer wishlist for this summer; however, the club deemed Chelsea's asking price of €70m (around £60m) to be excessive and subsequently pulled out of potential talks.

Stamford Bridge, meanwhile, are unwilling to offer discounts to direct competitors and are prepared to part ways with jackson only if their full valuation is met.
