Former Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi has shared his views on the potential transfer of 26-year-old Portuguese winger Pedro Neto to Manchester City.

The ex-footballer believes that the Citizens' offer of €81m is entirely fair and beneficial for the London club.

John Mikel Obi noted that under Xabi Alonso, the Portuguese forward does not appear to be a key figure in the long-term project for the Blues. Selling the winger for such a sum would be a win-win situation for Chelsea, and the involvement of Tottenham in the pursuit of the player only strengthens the market position of the London club.
