Jed Spence has touched on his switch to Inter Milan after departing Tottenham Hotspur.
The versatile full-back arrived in Italy on Thursday evening, successfully underwent his medical the following day, and has officially joined the ranks of the Nerazzurri.
"This is a massive club and a big step for me and my family. I'm over the moon to be here and ready to get to work," Spence said on Inter's official website.
The Englishman expressed his admiration for the Italian giant's trophy haul, which played a crucial part in his decision.
"I was definitely attracted by the history. You only have to look back at all those trophies. This is truly a monumental club," the defender added.
Spence has previously plied his trade in England, France, and Italy, and he believes these experiences have been invaluable.
"They have shaped me greatly. You learn a lot when you play abroad. I can say I've matured as a man while I was overseas, and I'm grateful for that experience," he noted.
Having had a stint at Genoa, where he already experienced the atmosphere of San Siro, Spence revealed his love for taking risks on the pitch and eagerly anticipates continuing his career at Inter.
