Sunderland have officially extended Enzo Le Fe's contract. The 26-year-old midfielder has signed a new long-term deal with the club that runs until 2031.
Le Fe has become a pivotal figure for the team since his move from Roma. Now, Sunderland have secured his future with this fresh five-year contract.
Le Fe remains at Sunderland
The Frenchman joined Sunderland in January 2025 on loan from Roma when the club was competing in the Championship.
After a successful stint, his transfer was made permanent, and now both parties have agreed to a new deal.
This season, Le Fe has already participated in six matches across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
“I feel very comfortable here”
Following the signing of his new contract, Le Fe expressed his happiness about continuing his career at the Stadium of Light.
“I’m really pleased to have signed a new contract with Sunderland. Since my arrival, I’ve felt the passion of the fans and the ambitions of everyone at the club — I really enjoy spending time here.”
The midfielder also highlighted the progress the team has made over recent seasons.
“Over the last couple of seasons, we’ve achieved something special together, but I believe this is just the beginning.”
Le Fe emphasized that he is fully prepared to continue developing with the club:
