Former Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez has inadvertently confirmed Ronald Araujo's transfer from Barcelona to Anfield.
The official announcement of the 27-year-old Uruguayan's move has yet to take place, but Nunez shared an emotional message to his international teammate.
Nunez wrote:

The reason behind the urgent transfer
The defender is set to address a significant injury crisis in head coach Andoni Iraola's squad. Centre-backs Joe Gomez, Jeremy Jaque, and Giovanni Leone are all sidelined, while on the right flank, where Araujo can also play, Connor Bradley and Jeremy Frimpong are still recovering from injuries.
Araujo is expected to complete the necessary paperwork this week and could make his debut for Liverpool in a friendly against Como.
