Mikhail Mudrik could significantly improve through individual training sessions, according to an analyst from the popular Chelsea fan account Blue_Footy.
The Ukrainian winger has shown flashes of talent but has struggled with consistency on the pitch, the analyst noted.
“I hadn’t thought about it like this, but I believe that if Mudrik focused on individual training to sharpen his skills, he could become a much better player. He already has a solid foundation, but his performances have been inconsistent. Spending over a year on individual training could be more than enough to rectify these gaps. As a current player, group training often takes up most of your time,” wrote the analyst.
The expert is optimistic about seeing Mudrik in Chelsea’s starting eleven for their upcoming match.
“I hope he starts on Sunday. I want to see how much he has improved, but his appearance off the bench looked promising. It’s just that Mudrik’s application of skills has been questionable. I’d like to see him get more game time to analyse him further,” added the analyst.
However, he remains convinced that the winger would benefit from a change of scenery, suggesting a loan move could provide the necessary stability.
“Yet, I still believe he needs a loan that would guarantee him quality and consistent match minutes,” concluded the Blue_Footy blogger.
