Belgian side Brugge are interested in Brentford defender Jayden Megoma. The 20-year-old has been included in the club's shortlist, although no official talks have taken place yet. A transfer will depend on Brentford's plans.

Belgian side Brugge are reportedly eyeing a move for Brentford defender Jayden Megoma, who has been added to the club's shortlist this summer.

While no official offer has yet been made, the Belgian champions have already expressed preliminary interest in the 20-year-old.

According to journalist Sasha Tavolieri, Megoma features on a shortlist of several candidates for the left-back position.

Brugge have yet to make a final decision on whether they need to strengthen this area, so concrete negotiations have not commenced.

Megoma joined Brentford from Southampton in 2024 for a fee of €5.9 million. Since then, he has spent time on loan at Preston North End and Scottish giants Rangers, making 44 appearances across all competitions last season.

Currently, Megoma is the sole backup for Rico Henry. The potential transfer hinges on whether Brentford intend to search for a new left-back.
