Xabi Alonso does not rule out Enzo Fernandez leaving Chelsea this summer

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has left the door open regarding the future of midfielder Enzo Fernandez as the summer transfer window nears its end.

The Spaniard shared his thoughts on the current status of the Argentine star:

Enzo is a Chelsea player, a top-class footballer. From day one, he has been training really well and has integrated excellently into the team. We are pleased with him, and he is preparing for Monday's match.

When pressed on whether Fernandez had expressed a desire to stay at Chelsea, Alonso took a diplomatic approach:

He is training very well with a great attitude, which is precisely what we need. He is doing everything possible to be as prepared as he can for the start of the new Premier League season.
